Putting lights up on the house

The weather was warm, but windy the morning we decided to put up christmas lights. We did not want to go the whole christmas season without being "festivally", but we WERE the only ones on our culdesac that put up lights...BORING neighbors! I think Bryan did a good job. I am so grateful it was him and not me!

We had the chance to get our christmas decorations and the tree out while Grandma and Grandpa were still in town. We had a lot of fun doing it together. What a fun tradition!

Lights at the horse park

With the Grandparents in town we decided to take them to the horse park and see opening night of the lights. It was fun to have them with us and experience it together. Only thing was that it was VERY cold and windy outside, so we did not stick around for most of the kid activities that were outside. But it was a good time.

Cincinnatia zoo with Grandma

We decided to go to the Cincinnato zoo. We got to see a new baby giraffe and some fruit bats that were HUGE. But we had fun and now have a membership...so many more trips up that way!

Weston's thanksgiving program

Weston goes to a pre-school once a week on tuesdays. It is called Building blocks. They put on a really cute thanksgiving day program. He was a pilgrim. Hat and all!

This was at our ward Trunk-or-Treat on saturday afternoon....I have to wait to get the other picture of tonights episode from my friend.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins tonight for FHE. This was Ainsley's first time being involved. And yes, she WAS involved. She enjoyed herself very much. She just wanted to play in all of the goo.

But she did have her way of telling us it was "yucky"

 

 Kambria carved her own pumpkin this year. She did a really great job. Better than I thought she would do.

 What a cutie!!! she liked playing with the seeds, so that is what she did.

Bryan is officially a citizen of the United States of America.

For those of you who did not know, before now, he was Canadian.

 It was quite the experience to keep 3 kids quiet in a quiet court room while everyone was sworn in and was taking their oath....

We are so proud that Bryan went ahead and is officially a citizen. We had to dress the part and make it fun. We wont have this opportunity again! So no more Aliens!

what we found in our yard

This is what Bryan found in our yard today while mowing the grass...it FREAKED me out!!!!

Bryan feels a little bad for killing it, but I told him, I still did not want it near my house...is that so bad?

Camping over Labor day

We went camping over Labor day weekend.

This is the night sky. It was wonderful to sit out and view the beautiful moon and cloud cover. The moon was SO bright

 

 

The next morning we decided to go investigating some of the area around the campground. We found this little mill house and had fun walking around the mill stones. It put a whole new perspective on the word mill stone around your neck!

Ainsley had fun chasing the geese around and pointing at them. Look at that little finger.

 Here is our little angel. Her halo just happens to be a head lamp. She is waving bye.
