We had the opportunity to see the lights on temple sqaure the last night we were in Utah and had a blast. We enjoyed seeing the lights and the temple all lit up. We even saw the famous red tree. We took the kids into the old tabernacle. They had fun with the echo! What hams!

Temple Square lights
random pictures
When Weston wakes up in the morning, he decides that he is going to get his own breakfast. This is him with his lucky charms cereal dumped on the table so he can pick out the marshmallows. Kambria decided to help him eat them this time...and this time at least he was sitting at a table instead of dumping them all over the floor like he has so many times before!

Snow fun
We have already had some fun times in the snow. Our first snow storm was on October 10th and since then we have made some good snow angels and used our sled a couple of times. Weston is getting better at enjoying the cold "stuff" and not crying as much! But Kambria sure loves to be outside and playing in it! Bryan has even be able to join us a couple of times!

Fairbanks' family pictures
I LOVE looking at pictures. I LOVE taking pictures. But I especially love having family pictures taken. I think they are fun to look at and display in my home. So we had Bryan's cousin take our family pictures. I thought they turned out good. Of course you always look at yourself and think...well its okay. That is how I felt with some...but these aren't bad:
Utah Lamprecht's
While we were in Utah we were able to see my brother Brady for a minute and enjoyed helping him put up his Christmas tree. The kids had a blast helping. Especially Kambria.

We also got to see his light show on his house. He has done some GREAT work with it this year. He even has Kermit the frog singing. We love you Brady!
We also got to spend a little time seeing my Grandma and Aunt Sherie. We sure do love them lots and miss having the opportunity to see them more often. We see them about twice a year...and that is a good year!

Thanks for the brief, but memorable time together!Thanksgiving...
The kids were pretending to be driving a bus. Madalyn was the bus driverTuesday, November 03, 2009
The zoo
We went to the zoo all by oursleves on free zoo day. It wasn't bad...except for the parking. We ran into a couple friends from our old ward in denver. That was fun.
The kids enjoyed looking at the animals and being outside. We even got to watch the sea lion show.
My birthday...only a month late
Thursday October 15, 2009This is what I woke up to! CINNAMON rolls!!!! It was wonderful...especially since Bryan had to work that day! He got up early and made them for me and decorated! Kambria woke up and came in my room and woke me up by saying lets go see all your presents and balloons! They are out in the kitchen for your birthday! Way to ruin the surprise! But it was wonderful for her to remember my birthday too!

I got custom orthotics from Bryan! What a surprise. He had someone from work make them for me and what a Sucker I was thinking he was taking a mold of my foot for someone to practice on at work!
I got makeup and face lotion...only costing $4 by the way! I even have Bryan saving money now! ;o)
And I got new jeans!!!
I also got two boxes of Tulips and Bryan's help to plant them. This is the first time I have done tulips so hopefully they will turn out!
This was my birthday Pie that MaryEllen made me since she knows that cakes are not my most favorite!
and Weston and Kambria had to help me open my presents...I got a wonderful Wreath to go on my front door, Some jewelry, and some underwear! It was great!
Halloween

Kambria even got to go on a hay ride all by herself!

Tinkerbelland then we made Doughnuts together! They were SO good and fun to make. Pat had made the dough earlier, but we got to decorate them and eat them. Kambria even helped!

Wicked
We had the priviledge of being able to go see the musical Wicked again. This was our third time seeing it...but it was as good as the other two. And this time we got to go with my parents. I think they enjoyed themselves. I just wish my dad could have heard more...but he has lost some hearing and has a hard time hearing the high notes. Overall I think they enjoyed themselves. I know Bryan and I enjoyed it and enjoyed spending the alone time with my parents! Kambria and Weston stayed at MaryEllen's house until we picked them up around midnight that night!
Thanks mom and dad for a great evening!

Updates...
Kambria's 3 year pictures! I LOVE them!!!

Updates on Kambria: She is 3 with an attitude and vocabulary of a 21 year old!!! She has been asking mommy lately is she is crabby. The conversation goes something like this…
“Mom, are you crabby?” Mom says no. “ I think you are mom. You are being crabby!” Thanks Kambria!!! Also a cute thing although I think she really didn’t understand the meaning of it was a conversation about buses.
Bryan asks what bus do you ride Kambria? Which she quickly responds “The long one.” And then the question is which one does Mommy ride? “The short one.” Dad of course LAUGHS!!!! And then which one does Daddy ride? “ The long one.” Which he smirks at…Then Which one does Weston ride? “The short one because he is small.” Bryan thought it was HILARIOUS! Of course he did…unless it were reversed!

She also has been LOVING he preschool. She has been into pretending a LOT more lately because of it. She even as eating at her “restaurant” the other night when we were eating dinner. She named her restaurant “Santi-woah-to” it was very entertaining to watch.
This past Sunday we were fasting and broke our fast at grandmas house. Kambria wanted to say the prayer and so grandma helped her little bit. “Thank you that we could fast”…but Kambria proceeds to say, “Thank you that we could be fast.” Just cute in my eyes!!!

FHE ideas...
We decided that we would try and have a fun FHE by making neckalces! It turned out to be fun fun fun!!!! That is what Kambria said anyways! We didn't have fruit loops but we did have apple jacks and so used those. Kambria liked to pick out the green ones and use those. We have decided that green is her favorite color at the moment.
This is her working very hard at threading her neaklace.
Kambria is 3...a little late on the post
Kambria is three!
I can not believe that my baby is three already! She is growing and becoming such the lady. She keeps me hopping and going all the time. If I have spent too much time in the house she gets her shoes on and says, lets go mom…where? I don’t know. We should just go! That is my girl! She likes to be doing and going and having a grand time! We love her so much.
Her three year stats:
Height: 37.3”
Weight: 34lbs
She is in the 50% for both---just as Weston is for his age group! We have “average” children, but only average in height and weight! ;o)
She wanted a butterfly birthday so we had a “friend” party, which only turned out as having her friend Rileigh come and play.
Her “cake” was butterfly cupcakes. I thought they turned out rather well from just seeing them online She wanted green and yellow butterflies…

Kambria got so excited when we sang happy birthday to her that her eyes filled up with tears. She tried so hard to not cry, but they definitely were tears of joy! That is my girl!!! Already her heart is close to her tear ducts. (as my grandpa Don would say)
She got playdough from Riliegh...can you tell she is happy!?
Kambria also received a big comfy lounge chair from Bryan’s boss Joe and his family! Rileigh and Kambria had a great time, as did Weston and Chloe!

The next day we had my parents and Bryan’s parents come over to celebrate! It was a grand time. Kambria got a sandbox from Nonnie and Poppa and toys to fill it with from Colin and Tess!

And once again when we sang to her, she teared up! What a cutie!

She got a exercise/alphabet bike from mom and dad with some books and DVD’s to help her start learning her letters. She got a fun squishy Ball from Amanda and a camera of her own from Grandma and Grandpa.

She also got a present from Bryan's piano students. Her very own Horse!!!! Fun fun!
She had a blast having so much attention on her! We love you Kambria and are so glad you chose us for your family!
