Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins tonight for FHE. This was Ainsley's first time being involved. And yes, she WAS involved. She enjoyed herself very much. She just wanted to play in all of the goo.

But she did have her way of telling us it was "yucky"

Kambria carved her own pumpkin this year. She did a really great job. Better than I thought she would do.
Weston with his finished product. He did not want to carve it.
Bryan hard at work. This is his favorite part...even if it is tedious.
What a cutie!!! she liked playing with the seeds, so that is what she did.
Kambria with her finished product. A bat cat.
And Bryan's finished product...can you see the witch holding a newt over her cauldron? I was impressed!

Bryan is officially a citizen of the United States of America.
For those of you who did not know, before now, he was Canadian.
It was quite the experience to keep 3 kids quiet in a quiet court room while everyone was sworn in and was taking their oath....
Official!!! Here is the judge that did the program.
 The court room
In front of the court house

In front of the water fountain...it was bright.

We are so proud that Bryan went ahead and is officially a citizen. We had to dress the part and make it fun. We wont have this opportunity again! So no more Aliens!

Bryan feels a little bad for killing it, but I told him, I still did not want it near my house...is that so bad?
