fat chubby baby...handsome future missionary

just some pictures to share of Weston. It started out with him being naked due to him peeing out of his diaper during the night...and of course me not wanting him to scream at me to get him dressed again...once we woke up and started going then I got him dressed and he was so happy and content. He is such a good baby!! We love you Weston!!

temper tantrums

So what do you do when your 2 1/2 year old throws her bowl of rice on the floor?

Kambria has had a couple of temper tantrums lately. Yesterday for example...she woke up on the WRONG side of the bed apparently. She did not stop crying or whimpering crying for 2 hours!!! she started around 7;30am...and did not stop until about 10 or even 10:15 when I finally left church to take her and Weston home so she could nap.

I got about a total of 5 minutes of time in the chapel for church. It was amazing ho much she could cry and for no reason at all!!! Just amazing! Who would've thought!

Weston 6 month stats

Just thought I would post an update on my big little guy Weston. He had his 6 month checkup…just on his 7 month bday. He came in big as expected, but what wasn’t quite expected was how tall he was!!!
His stats are:
20lbs exactly = 75% I guess this has not increased a whole lot...due to him crawling!
30 inches long = 105% …where that one came from I am not sure!!!
Head circumference…not sure but I remember that he was in the 90%.

The doctor’s office we are going to is NOT my favorite place…but there are few and far between that are open to us right now due to Medicaid. But I am forceful with them and they eventually tell me his percentiles, since I guess most people are not too interested in them? They don’t even write them down for me…so I do it as soon as they tell me. But I missed remembering his head circumference…

He is such a joy. Although he is not eating food very well lately. He has discovered how to spit and so does this instead of eating cereal or baby food. I have no idea how to get him to stop it…I have tried distracting him with toys and little cheerios which he loves, but to no avail…I usually get a face full before I am finished. I figure he will eat when he is hungry, but lately he just wants to nurse…must be those shots too. Maybe one day soon he will come around to opening his mouth like he used to.

Aside from all this..I LOVE my little boy!!! he is so happy all the time and loves his big sister so much! All he does is grin at her...even if she is pushing or "trying" to help! And he loves his dad. He will smile for him and laugh at him, even when he is tired and cranky! We love him and are so glad he is a part of our little family!!! Thanks for being such a great boy Weston!

My 6 month old crawling!!

So this is a quick video of my six month crawling! I can hardly believe it! I was definitely NOT ready for him to do this. This is partly due to him watching a friend of ours' little daughter and he is about the same size as her, but she is 9 months old...and anothers due to my mother! She worked with him when we were last there and "taught" him how to move forward for the things he wants to get. Now he is ALL over the place rolling this way and that and "scooting" but he has gotten pretty fast at this scooting crawly thing. Enjoy the video!

update...no video...sorry blogger will not upload it for some reason...and I am done trying.

the news

So it has been an interesting week. We finally got the culture news back on Wednesday and she has traces of E-Coli!!! AGH!! we are not sure how she got that, but she is on antibiotics for that and it will also cover the UTI. And on top of that, I guess e-coli can have some very serious side effects on your kidneys and liver...so she is going in for a renal ultra sound and a vcug on Wednesday. We are learning more about this awful disease more each day...So that is the reason for lack of posting...just busy...as I know so many are!

We have been playing every so often too...to try and get back into the routines we once had. So we go the the park and the mall for when it is cold. But they are short trips so as to not make Kambria TOO tired.

She is doing better and better and I think I have my girl back! I am so glad! Even if she does make me crazy once in a while! I love her so much and am glad she is feeling better!

this afternoon before I put her down for her nap I was chasing her and tickling her and she was so cute...I told her it was time for her nap and she replied...you have to tickle me though! She is just a cutie pie!

Here is a blurry picture of her and her friend Rileigh at the mall. Too bad it is blurry. They only hold still for so long...
