Another year has come and gone. Many milestones have been
reached… December
2014
At the end of December, we will have lived in our home for
18 months! For some this might not seem like a big deal, but for us it is the
longest we have ever lived in one house since we have been married! THIS IS
HUGE!!! We also have plans to stay for at least 4 years due to Bryan’s job
responsibilities (more on that later).
Branson turned one! He is in the 98% for height and weight
(he currently weighs 31 lbs. at 16 months). He loves his brother and sisters,
but he LOVES, LOVES, LOVES his Daddy. He grins from ear to ear every time he
comes home from work or when Branson wakes up and sees him. He has the happiest countenance and two big
dimples to show every time he smiles. He loves to “drive” everything. He is
truly a boy and we love having him in our family!
Ainsley is
attending preschool one day a week and is thoroughly enjoying herself. Mom
loves it too J
She is a
VERY busy girl and is in the stage of asking “why” a lot! She loves to help
clean…in fact she requests to do the dishes and laundry quite often. She helps a lot with Branson and loves to
mother him and her baby dolls. She is constantly singing to them and putting
them to bed, like a good mommy would.
Weston is in
first grade and his favorite thing to say right now is, “it’s so BOOOORING!”
Kidding aside, he is enjoying school and learning. He is a tender hearted boy,
but loves to wrestle and play. He cannot
wait until Branson is a little older to really wrestle! He is starting to take more pride in what he
wears and how he looks…he even let his hair be styled in a faux hawk. He still does not like wearing jeans or
collared shirts. He has convinced his
dad to give him piano lessons.
Kambria is
in the third grade and is full of life…and attitude! She is becoming quite the
lady and enjoys her dancing and singing lessons. She is still playing piano and is singing all
the time. She turned eight this year and was baptized in our church. She still loves to dress up and pretend to be
a princess. That is what her dad calls
her all the time is “princess.” She is
such a big help with her siblings, especially Branson. We are enjoying seeing her excel in school.
She made the AB honor roll and is continuing to get straight A’s.
Eliza is
still busier than ever! She served in the Young Women for the first half of the
year and now serves in the primary presidency (children’s organization in our
church). She loves to host parties and
have friends over. She enjoys being the mother to four wonderful kids who keep
her on her toes and her outlook on life interesting! She is happy to be in her own home and is continuing
the decorating process…it might just take 4 years to get it doneJ
Bryan and Eliza celebrated their 10 year
anniversary and took a trip to Florida without kids for a week!!! They went to
Disneyland and Hollywood Studios and had a blast. It was a nice trip and MANY
memories made.
Bryan continues
to work full time as a Certified Prosthetist, but is now back in school to become
a Certified Orthotist too! He is getting his master’s degree in Prosthetics and
Orthotics. For this reason we know we will be staying in our house for 4
years. He still teaches piano to a few
students, including his own, but on a lesser scale. He still serves as a pianist in the primary
and enjoys his other 4 callings too. (All have to do with music and piano)
We are so
thankful for this past year and all the milestones. We have been truly blessed
and are grateful to have each one of you in our lives. We love this time of year and the chance to
reflect on our Savior Jesus Christ. May you be blessed and watched over. We
wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Love
~The
Fairbanks~
