This is a picture of Polish town. I LOVED hearing people speak Polish on the streets and seeing all the Polish Kiosks...by the way Kiosk is a Polish word if you did not know that! You learn something new every day! This shows you polish and English advertising the same things. I thought is was SO fun!!! It was a good thing Bryan was in class during this time, otherwise he probably would have been bored out of his mind!

This is in downtown Chicago. It is a Picasso sculpture.
This is a picture of the Polish born pope when he came to Chicago in 2005. The polish people were so proud that one of their own was named the pope.
This is the catholic church that the pope dedicated. They are JUST like the ones in Poland. It was quite immaculate as you can see from the next couple of pics. Next post is our trip to the zoo...coming this afternoon...when I have more time to type.

Love those pictures of the church. I'm glad you had a chance to get a Polish fix.

I'm so excited for you guys. We will definitely have to take advantage of our midwest time together and meet up some time...maybe like in Nauvoo! We'd love to see you guys!

So jealous. I want to go on a real "vacation" and check out cool sites like you did. Looks like you kept REAL busy. :) Can't wait to see more pics!

Looks like a fun time. The pictures are great. One good thing about California is not too many taxi's. Crazy drivers, yes.
